Driven by passion
Laurin Legare is a Charleston, South Carolina–based founder, business strategist, advisor, and creative entrepreneur whose work sits at the intersection of entrepreneurship, hospitality, brand building, operations, and visibility.
As the Founder of Pluff Mud Hospitality and Managing Partner & Co-Founder of Tater’s Lowcountry Kitchen + Catering, Laurin has spent years building businesses from the inside out. Her experience spans business strategy, restaurant operations, marketing, financial planning, customer experience, creative direction, content strategy, and brand development, giving her a practical understanding of what it takes to turn an idea into something people can see, trust, and buy into.
That hands-on experience shapes her work as an advisor and thought leader. Laurin is especially interested in the decisions that happen behind the scenes of growing a business: creating sustainable systems, building recognizable brands, navigating change, developing strong customer experiences, and learning how to become more visible without losing what made the work meaningful in the first place.
Through her writing, advisory work, speaking, and media projects, she shares an honest and thoughtful perspective on entrepreneurship, leadership, business growth, personal branding, hospitality, and building with intention.
Outside of work, Laurin is usually somewhere tending to her garden, planning her next trip, discovering a beautifully designed restaurant or hotel, experimenting with photography, or finding a very good craft cocktail. She is endlessly curious about the details that make places, brands, and experiences feel memorable, and that curiosity finds its way into nearly everything she creates.
